Kim’s been working with Svea in local gardens since 2011, when our li’l company started.
Asked what’s kept her at it all that time, it’s the buzz from ‘getting into character’. That’s the challenging (yet rewarding) process of listening carefully; and working according to the client’s preferences, not her own.
Favourite type of job: “You’ve got these plants, to make that happen. Right. Go!”
Kim is our resident rose and flowering shrub specialist, something which her previous 14 years in floristry prepared her perfectly for.
She lives with her two teenagers and husband walking distance from Long Bay Regional Park. You’ll likely see her down there any morning – rain or shine – with her adorable Aussie Shepherd, Vinnie.
